Educational standards

Educational standards enhance and maintain quality of education. They ensure all educators use the same techniques for developing and measuring the outcomes of education. The educational standards listed on this website are based on industry-wide standards for clinical and non-clinical education. All OhioHealth educators are encouraged to use these standards in order to maintain constancy in staff education as well as ensure quality.

This website includes information on all the steps of the ADDIE instructional design process - the process to be used whenever developing any form of education. Tools that can be downloaded and used are included in each step. Visual media, such as PowerPoint templates and OhioHealth logos are also available for downloading. The Tools Index page includes links to all the tools and websites that are found in each of the ADDIE and Visual Template pages.

ADDIE is a simple Instructional Design model. This acronym stands for Assessment/Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Each step in this cyclical process depends and builds upon the previous step.

Visual Media templates and logos are designed to align with the Brand Management Program established by OhioHealth.
